Food is one of the most basic needs of all human beings, yet thousands of men, women and children go to sleep hungry every night throughout the United States. Cooking for a Cause allows corporate groups to partake in an exhilarating team experience that culminates with a meaningful and worthwhile donation of food to people in need. Your group can help feed the hungry and will cook and eat food they prepare during the event, but the program also allows for a 3-pronged donation to hungry area populations:
Recipe for Success facilitators will help participants better comprehend the nature of the issue of hunger in the U.S. through a brief interactive introduction on the topic. Then, teams get cooking!! Teams will complete the following 3 tasks (The Cooking Competition, The Great PB&J Challenge, & Food Bag Donation) each with a competitive twist that will keep participants on their toes!
When possible, staff from the benefiting organization will be on hand to receive the donations. What a great way to build your team and give back to the community!
A charitable donation of food
Education on hunger and the homeless in America
A delicious meal!
Improve team morale
Good feelings that come from giving to someone in need
This year's Team Cuisine was a complete success! Chef Stewart was very well received, and he delivered in his most professional, gracious style as usual. He certainly has a way with "younger folks", they actually stop and listens to him! Also, the timeframe used was perfect! Steve and I were very pleased.
Thanks again for everything….people have been talking and laughing about the event all day! Many have commented on the fact it was by far the best corporate event they’ve ever been too! Thanks for helping me look so good.
It was a pleasure meeting you. Seriously, you really know how to put on a show. What a great and beneficial day. I was one of the agents on the middle back table and we made stuffed mushrooms. Thank you.
We really had a great time at our meeting on 2/4/2010. This is definitely a night no one will forget. I would greatly appreciate if you could send me the recipes from that evening.
The session went very well and Richard did a great job. I look forward to the opportunity to work on similar events in the future.
